CEOs

As CEO, only you and those you give Org Admin permissions to are able to edit and publish (and un-publish) the Strategy document in Khorus.

This is the place to enter your mission, vision, values, and answer ten questions Khorus created to help you articulate the company strategy in a way that every employee can understand and read as often as they want.

We believe it's essential that all your employees have access to and can understand the strategy that you want to guide them, not only in goal setting but in everyday decision making. Getting employees to understand the business strategy has been an issue over decades in most businesses. "A mere 7% of employees today fully understand their company's business strategies and what's expected of them in order to help achieve company goals."Robert S. Kaplan and David P. Norton, "The Strategy-Focused Organization," Harvard Business School Press, 2001

Rook? Funny icon for strategy. It's the best we could come up with.

Here's what it looks like when you're done. Notice the the banner with the word "Published". This means everyone can read this doc. If you want to remove visibility from the rest of your org for a while, just click the Edit button, scroll down, then Save Draft. You can edit this doc at any time. You don't have to answer every question, and if you choose to leave a question unanswered, your employees won't see that question at all—it'll look like a complete document to them. This document doesn't track versions, so once you make changes, you can't review what you had in previously.

Do you not have the rook icon in your navigation menu? That means your Strategy document hasn't been published, yet. Ask your manager or Khorus Implementation Owner (KIO) (  My who? Oh dear, you need to know who your KIO is. Reach out to us and we'll point you in the right direction.) about when it will be published.
