Using Khorus

Device Support

Desktop Browsers

To use Khorus, you just need a modern web browser.

That includes the latest version of each browser:

  • Edge
  • Firefox
  • Chrome
  • Safari

Mobile Browsers

You can also log in to Khorus on your mobile device with a web browser. Today, we don't have native mobile apps.

Reset Password

If you get the message "Invalid email or password" when trying to log in, first check for typos. Then, if you're still unable to log in after you've re-tried entering your email and password with no typos, use the Lost your password link at the bottom of the login page. There, you can have a password-reset link sent to your email.

Other Problems

The most common culprit behind having trouble with using Khorus is a browser configuration. If you can't access Khorus, you might wonder Is Khorus down?. It's probably not; we've had just a handful of minutes of downtime since Khorus began.

First, be sure you're using the most up-to-date version of one of the supported browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Edge.

Then, if Khorus isn't loading, be sure you don't have any browser add-ons blocking JavaScript: Try disabling browser add-ons one by one to see if any are causing problems with Khorus loading.

In a world where so many of our apps run in our browsers, sometimes our browsers get in a weird state. As a result, we need to clear cache and cookies from time to time to get everything back in order.

To clear cache and cookies

In Edge

Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+H > Click the blue text Clear history at the top-right > Check Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data, Cached data and files, and Tabs I've set aside or recently closed (these are probably already checked by default) > Click the Clear button at the bottom of that list. Close Edge, re-open, and try again.

In Chrome

In the search bar, navigate to chrome://history > at the top-left, click Clear browsing data > in the modal, change the Time range dropdown box to All time > then Clear data. Close Chrome, re-open, and try again.

In Firefox

In the search bar, navigate to about:preferences > in the nav menu on the left, click Privacy & Security > scroll down to find Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data > check both boxes > Clear. Close Firefox, re-open, and try again.
