- Review My Employee's Goal Finalization and Give Feedback
At any time during the quarter, you can Finalize your goal and add the results you achieved toward the goal. Every employee except the CEO will submit their results to their manager, then the manager will give feedback on the results of the goal—even if the employee's goal is aligned with someone other than their manager.
Click the goal menu button (3-dot icon) at the top-right of the goal details view.
Now, Finalize goal.
First, review your supporting goals to inform your goal results. Then, answer the question, "Did you achieve this goal?" Select a Final Quality for the goal—what's that extra bit of detail beyond whether you achieved the goal? Lastly, use the text area to describe the specific results you achieved.
Click Submit. Then you—and everyone else will see the results of your goal in the History & Comments section.
Start with your goal menu, and select Finalize Goal.
First, review your supporting goals (if you have any) to inform your goal results. Then, answer the question, "Did you achieve this goal?" Select a Final Quality for the goal—what's that extra bit of detail beyond whether you achieved the goal? Lastly, use the text area to describe the specific results you achieved.
When you click Submit, your manager will get a notification (in-app and email) that you finalized your goal. Then (s)he will see a new Reminder item on their home page to complete your goal finalization by giving their feedback. They will answer a Yes-No question on whether they consider your goal to be achieved and have the option of entering open-ended feedback in a text area. Your manager will not select a Final Quality on your goal. Quality is your own insight about the outcomes of the goal. You'll get a notification when they've submitted their feedback on your goal. Be sure to check for disagreements with your manager on the results of your goal.
When your employee submits their goal finalization, you'll see a new Reminder item on your home page to add feedback to your employee's goal results.
After you've read the goal details to refresh your memory, scroll down to view your employee's Outcome, supporting goals, and then answer the question, "Do you consider this goal to be achieved?" Then add some open-ended feedback and click Submit. In this scenario, your employee said the goal was achieved. Let's look at what we need to do if you disagree with your employee.
Your employee received a notification. We think Khorus is great for communicating about the work that needs to get done and the results of that work, but when disagreements like this happen, we encourage you to have a face-to-face conversation with your employee to get on the same page about what was achieved. Once you do that, you or your employee can go back to the goal menu and click Edit Results to reflect what was decided in your conversation about the goal results.
Both you and your employee can edit the results you enter on their goals at any time.
Whoever makes edits, the other will get a notification about the edits.
